Is Geoplora free to download?

Yes! Geoplora is completely free to download on both the App Store and Google Play. The core features — including Country Explorer, Flag Games, and basic cultural content — are free. A premium subscription unlocks advanced AI travel guidance, offline mode, and additional game packs.

What platforms is Geoplora available on?

Geoplora is available on iOS (iPhone and iPad, iOS 15+) and Android (Android 8.0+). A web version is currently in development.

How does the AI Travel Guide work?

Our AI Travel Guide uses large language model technology to answer your travel questions in natural language. Ask it anything — visa requirements, best time to visit, packing tips, cultural do's and don'ts. The AI is designed to give personalised, up-to-date guidance. Note: always verify critical travel information (e.g. visas) with official government sources.

Can I use Geoplora offline?

Basic country data and previously viewed content is cached for offline use. Full offline access, including downloadable country packs, is available with a Geoplora Premium subscription. The AI Travel Guide requires an active internet connection.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. To cancel:

  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Geoplora → Cancel
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Geoplora → Cancel

You'll retain access until the end of your billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial periods, but you may appeal via the respective store's support.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from within the app: go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, game progress, and associated data from our servers within 30 days. Alternatively, email privacy@geoplora.app and we'll handle it promptly.

Is Geoplora suitable for children?

Yes! Geoplora is designed to be educational and family-friendly for users of all ages. It's particularly great for students aged 8–18 learning about world geography. The app does not contain violent, adult, or inappropriate content. Younger children should use the app with parental guidance.

Common Issues & Fixes

App crashes on launch

  1. Force-close the app and reopen it.
  2. Ensure your OS is up to date (iOS 15+ / Android 8.0+).
  3. Uninstall and reinstall from the app store.
  4. Contact support if issue persists.

AI Guide not responding

  1. Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
  2. The AI service may be temporarily down. Try again in a few minutes.
  3. Restart the app and try a shorter query.
  4. If using a VPN, try disabling it.

  1. Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen.
  2. Check your spam folder for the reset email.
